What’s in Williamstown, nearby or things to do?

Directions:

The online websites: maps.google.com.au  and  whereis.com  give explicit directions.

Unfortunately I couldn't get them to go "via" the Western Ring Road which is the route we use.

But  maps.google.com.au  and  whereis.com  would be quite useful to understand the directions below.

Don’t forget to ask for a Directory when picking up a hire car at the airport.

Directions from Melbourne Airport

     (this route has no toll roads - takes about 45min - non peak hour)

1. Take the Tullamarine Fwy towards the City
   

2. Take the Western Ring Road
   

3. Take the West Gate Fwy towards City
   

4. Exit onto Williamstown Rd
   

5. Turn right onto Williamstown/Melbourne Rd
   

6. Turn left at Ferguson St roundabout
   

7. Turn right at Nelson Place roundabout
   

8. Proceed along Nelson Place, Cole St and Thompson on right (water on left!!),  Royal Yacht Club of Victoria on left after Thompson.

2. Exit onto Koororit Creek Rd for Williamstown
   

3. Exit onto Williamstown Rd
   

4. Turn right onto Williamstown/Melbourne Rd
   

5. Turn left at Ferguson St roundabout
   

6. Turn right at Nelson Place roundabout
   

7. Proceed along Nelson Place, Cole St and Thompson on right (water on left!!),  Royal Yacht Club of Victoria on left after Thompson.
